The truthiest truth

There was a brave girl,
Who lied a lot.

She stole from a candy store,
Gummies and pop rocks.
“Did you do this?” They asked,
“It was the boy, just around the shop!”

She lit a match,
Burned a house down.
“Did you do this?” They asked,
“It was the house, he was clowning around!”

She went to a museum,
Broke the Mona Lisa down.
“Did you do this?” They asked,
“It was her, she asked for a frown!”

She went to bed,
Turned out the light.
“Did I do this?” She asked,
“It’s so late, just hush, not tonight!”

It hurt her some,
It hurt her a lot,
In the end,
It’s the truthiest truth she’s got.
